Hello, fashionistas! The weather has been nutty everywhere recently, but here in Northern California we’ve finally started to get a break from the rain and cold to get a couple of sunny warm days. I am INSTANTLY excited about this, as the nice weather has a huge affect on my mood and my fashion! I wanted to put together a few of my favorites here to show you that I’ve posted but will be busting out a LOT for the Spring as it gets warmer!

The Jacket Moment

Jacket: Opposuits, Tee: Blank+Blue, Jeans and Beanie: Express
Jacket and Beanie: Express, Tee: Blank+Blue
Jacket and Jeans: Express, Shoes: Converse

One of my absolute favorite outfits that always seems to work every Spring is a nice jacket over a graphic tee. Sometimes they can be an overstated jacket, but sometimes it’s the tee you want to pop. Pictured here, you can see me in my over the top stitched look jacket from Opposuits over a simple Blank+Blue tee. The second photo brings more to the graphic from Blank+Blue as well layered with a simple heather charcoal gray jacket from Express. One of my fav recent looks however was my Final Fantasy VIII (I know…NERD!) tee I layered under an Express gray cotton jacket with some silver chucks. Don’t be afraid to experiment with this layering option!

Hoodie Realness

Hoodie: Target (Original Use Collection)
Hoodie: Target (Original Use Collection)

A hoodie doesn’t have to be a sweatshirt. Both of these hoodies are looks from the Target Original Use collection, one of my fav affordable fashion collections. Each one is a thin t-shirt material to provide coverage and is warm enough for Spring, but brings the aesthetic of a hoodie which I LOVE. Be sure to check out some of the new items coming soon to original use!

Bombs Away!

Jacket: Zara, Sweatshirt: H&M

I am seriously in love with any type of bomber nowadays and they make for a great Spring layer! This one in particular from Zara was on clearance and I was super excited for the buy. I highly recommend Zara for cute layering pieces in the Spring but don’t always count on them for bold colors. Bold prints, for sure, but not bold basics. Where do you get your bombers?

So what are you excited about for Spring? I’m ALL about the new neons and festival looks! Let me know in the comments!
